Fearing that The Hunger Games was yet another “Twilight” or “Harry Potter”, he chose to avoid reading the book or watching the movie. HOWEVER, upon doing some research, he came to learn of the DRAMA concerning our dear friend, Rue.

OK, granted, I haven’t seen the film. But this guy has the right idea. To be honest, I always imagined Rue and Tresh as African American (or whatever the term might be in this hellish dystopian future; for all I know, it might just be “District 11”). But how in fuck’s name did anyone manage to get offended by them having dark skin? THAT’S HOW THEY’RE DESCRIBED IN THE FUCKING NOVEL, YOU EEJITS. I get not liking a certain casting, but christ, why would you bitch about a dark-skinned actor cast as a character described in the books as dark-skinned?
